The 8 Step Process
Step 1: Domain Name Registration

We can handle U.S. domain
name registration or transfers on your behalf. (ie: .com, .net, .org,
www.yourname.com). The InterNIC charges $70 to register a domain name
which covers the first two years. They currently bill at a rate of $35 per
year thereafter. There are also FREE domain names. These names tend
to be longer and less attractive. (eg: www.yourname.freewebspace.com). Son
Bear will work close with you to pick the right name and discuss with you
the advantages and disadvantages of paid domain names vs. FREE domain names.
 Step 2: ISP
Internet Service Provider
Son Bear will register your new
domain name with an internet service provider (ISP) to secure your cyber space
on the web. There are a wide range of ISP's. There are expensive ISP's
that offer deluxe membership services. There are FREE ISP's that advertise on
your page, and there are ISP's everywhere in between.
Step 3: Planning
Up front planning is a key
element for successful results. This step will give you a chance to analyze
your goals, and give us a basic understanding of what you wish to accomplish and
how you want your site to look. Son Bear will work closely with you to properly
plan your web site.
Step 4: Development
and Design
After we agree to a fixed
price, and a contract is signed we proceed with the design. Together we outline
various concepts of your site, and define user interface and navigational
components. We provide a test area on the server (ISP) called a Beta site, where documentation is
kept and you can see the progression of your site as well as give us feedback. We
whole-heartedly encourage your input so that a site that meets your needs is

Step 5: Launch
We install your site on the
server (ISP), along with databases and programming software.
Step 6: Testing and Tweaking
Testing is done to insure
proper functionality and audience affect. Nothing turns off a surfer more than a
site that does not function properly. Everything needs to work, links, auto responders, e-mail forwarding. They all need tested and tested again until
they meet your specifications. Tweaking is the step where you can help the most. The
web site is your baby! Son Bear will tweak and tweak until every
page looks the way you want it and format it to run on all browsers perfectly.
Step 7: Management
Every site needs a web
administrator to handle updates, e-mail, orders, responses to CGI scripts as
well as keeping up with the latest technology changes. Son Bear would be

Once your approval is met we
